Your weekly dose of bike updates: Hero Xtreme 440R, 2023 Triumph Street Triple RS, and more!

The last week was the most action-packed one in a long time with multiple new launches taking place. Moreover, spy shots and leaks were in abundance and we also published an exclusive report about one of the upcoming Hero products. Hero Xtreme 160R 4V launched

Hero MotoCorp launched the 2023 Xtreme 160R 4V in India with multiple notable updates. The engine has received a four-valve treatment and it is a slightly larger 163cc oil-cooled unit now. Power and torque numbers have also marginally gone up to 16.6bhp and 14.4Nm. Another major change has come in the form of the new golden USD front forks, but only for the Pro variant. Prices of the bike start from Rs 1,27,300.

2023 Triumph Street Triple RS, R launched

After consistent postponement since March, Triumph has finally introduced the 2023 Street Triple RS and R in India. While the prices for the former start from Rs. 10.16 lakh, the latter costs Rs 11.81 lakh. Both models have received significant updates to their engines, electronics and hardware, making them more powerful, agile and technologically advanced. Even the styling has been updated to make them look sharper and sportier.

Honda Unicorn OBD2-compliant version launched

Honda introduced the new OBD2-compliant version of the Unicorn. This bike has been priced at Rs 1.10 lakh and is available in four colours – black, red, grey and blue. The Japanese brand has also extended its 10-year warranty package to the updated Unicorn. Under this package, the bike comes with a standard warranty of three years, but the customers have the option to extend it further by seven years.

Hero Xtreme 440R under development

In our exclusive report last week, we revealed that Hero MotoCorp is working on a new 440cc motorcycle that is scheduled to be launched in 2024. This new bike is likely to be called the Xtreme 440R and it will be powered by the same engine that’ll feature on the soon-to-be-launched Harley Davidson X440. Hero Passion Plus re-launched

Hero MotoCorp re-launched the Passion Plus in India, and it now makes for the brand’s fifth offering in the 100cc class. This commuter now gets a revised headlight cowl, tail lamp, and grab rail while the remaining bodywork, including the commuter stance and simple design have been carried over. Propelling the bike is a 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine dishing out 7.9bhp and 8.05Nm.
