A missing elderly man whose car was last seen last Wednesday in Macomb County is being sought by police.
Harold Tingley’s vehicle was spotted near North Avenue and 21 Mile Road in Macomb Township around 11 p.m. on July 12, according to the Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety.
Investigators said Tingley has no connection to the Macomb area and it’s unknown why he or his car would be in the county.
“Mr. Tingley is considered an endangered individual with health concerns and does not have his medications,” police said in a social media post. “It is unknown if his cell phone is operational and (he) has not used any known credit cards.”
Authorities reported Tingley was last seen leaving his residence at Vista Grande Villa in Blackman Township, near Jackson, Mich., on the morning of July 12. He is described as a 5-foot-11 white male, 150 pounds, who was wearing glasses, a button down, collared shirt and jeans with tennis shoes.
He left his residence in a dark red 2006 Buick Lucerne with license plate number DLG2636.
Officials with the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office were not immediately available Monday to say whether they have any updates on the missing man.
Anyone who may have seen Tingley is urged to call 911 or the Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety at 517-788-4223.
