Crescent Hill hosts Louisville’s latest ‘Food Truck Invasion’

1993. WELL, HARD TO BELIEVE. WELL, CRESCENT HILL WAS THE SITE OF THE METRO’S LATEST FOOD TRUCK INVASION IN MORE THAN A DOZEN LOCAL FOOD TRUCKS GATHERED TODAY AT SAINT LEONARD’S PARISH. EACH MONTH, THE LOUISVILLE FOOD TRUCK ASSOCIATION BRINGS ALL THE TRUCKS TOGETHER SO THE COMMUNITY CAN SAMPLE THE MANY DIFFERENT MOBILE CUISINES THE CITY HAS TO OFFER, ALL IN ONE PLACE. THERE WAS EVERYTHING FROM BACON TO SLUSHIES AND EVEN SOME FOOD TRUCKS JUST FOR THE DOGS. WE LOVE WATCHING PEOPLE COME OUT. FOODIES COME OUT AND ENJOY THE DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES. THERE’S ACTIVITIES FOR THE CHILDREN AS WELL AS FAMILIES BEING ABLE TO EAT, DRINK AND BE HAPPY. Crescent Hill was the site of the Louisville’s latest “Food Truck Invasion.”More than a dozen local food trucks gathered on Sunday at St. Leonard’s Parish. Each month the Louisville Food Truck Association brings all the trucks together so the community can sample the many different mobile cuisines the city has to offer in one place. There was everything from bacon to slushies and even some food trucks just for the dogs. “We love watching people come out — foodies come out– and enjoy the different activities for the kids as well as families being able to eat, drink and be happy,” said Lanona Nelson from The Slushie Lab.If you’re heading out to the Beyoncé concert on Monday, several of the food trucks say they will be set up outside L&N Stadium for those who need a bite to eat before heading into the show. More than a dozen local food trucks gathered on Sunday at St. Leonard’s Parish.

Each month the Louisville Food Truck Association brings all the trucks together so the community can sample the many different mobile cuisines the city has to offer in one place.
